DISCOVER NORTH PENN ODYSSEY OF THE MIND
Odyssey of the Mind is a competitive problem solving program.
Odyssey of the Mind HQ is the international organization that
administrates the program for schools throughout the United States
and around the world. PA Odyssey of the Mind has six regions
which includes Southeast PA, where North Penn teams compete
against other teams from the SEPA region. North Penn Odyssey of
the Mind is the program for NPSD students who would like to participate
in Odyssey of the Mind. This program is open to all NPSD students in
Grades K-12+.
On Tuesday, September 30th, North Penn Odyssey of the Mind hosted
an Open House for families to explore the district program. Interested
students were able to learn about the program from experienced coaches
and their team members who shared props and costumes used in skits at
competitions. Twenty-seven teams were formed. These teams started
meeting in November and will be representing NPSD at the Southeast PA
Odyssey of the Mind Regional Competition on Saturday, February 28th at
Temple University Ambler Campus. The competition is free and open to the
public.
Families interested in learning how to participate in NP OM next year can
plan to attend the Open House in Fall '2026. Information will be sent to
NP schools to share with their families. A flyer will also be posted on the
NPSD's Community Bulletin Board under September 2026 events.
